Description
Natural vegetable sponge from a renewable source, biodegradable and compostable. Loofah is made from a gourd in the cucumber family that is dried in the sun to reach its coarse spongy consistency. The texture of the loofah changes when wet, it softens while providing a gentle scrub. Use it as a cleaning sponge in kitchen and bath, or for your body care as an exfoliating sponge.
This piece is approximately 12 cm long and 10 cm in diameter when wet and will last several months depending on frequency of use. Let it dry out between uses to make it last longer. Put it in the compost at the end of its life.
