All orders are processed within 2 business days and are shipped out of our location in Ottawa, ON, Canada.

We use Canada Post's Expedited Parcel service to ship orders across Canada. Shipping speed depends on travel distance and will vary from 1 to 7 business days. You will receive a tracking number with your shipping confirmation email. Note that NU Grocery is not responsible for delays once the parcel is in the hands of Canada Post, particularly during high volume periods like the Holiday season. Please place your orders early to make sure they arrive on time!

Our flat rate shipping rate is $15. 

We do not ship food with Canada Post. Food deliveries are limited to the Ottawa and Gatineau region and are carried out by a local delivery service. Click here to know more about our local delivery service.

We use Canada Post's Tracked Packet™ and Expedited Parcel™ services to ship to the USA. Shipping speed depends on travel distance and will vary from 4 to 8 business days. You will receive a tracking number with your shipping confirmation email. Note that NU Grocery is not responsible for delays once the parcel is in the hands of Canada Post / USPS, particularly during high volume periods like the Holiday season. Please place your orders early to make sure they arrive on time!

Shipping costs have increased tremendously in the past year and we have to increase our flat shipping rate to $30 CAD (approximately $23 USD, depending on the exchange rate on the day the order is placed).

All orders are processed in CAD. While our prices might be displayed in USD for convenience, your total at checkout and your payment will be processed in CAD at the most current exchange rate.

With orders to the USA, the receiver is responsible for paying any duties or fees collected by the US customs agency.

Please note: By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.

 

Return policy for all products sold in bulk and hygiene products:

For safety reasons we cannot accept returns on these items for reasons of personal taste. If there was something wrong with the product (defective, sour, rancid...) we will refund or exchange it.

 

Return policy for all other items:

Changed your mind about a product you bought? That happens! Bring back the item to the store with a proof of purchase within 15 days and we will do an exchange or give you a store credit.

If you ordered online, please contact us within 15 days of receiving your product at nuonline@nugrocery.com and we will organize the return. Return costs are your responsibility unless the item is defective or we made a mistake on your order.

The product must be unused and in its original new condition with all packaging.
