This delicacy has a very short season, from mid-April to early May, so don't miss out!

Here's an easy way to prepare them: Boil until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain, rinse and pat dry. Heat butter in a large skillet, add fiddleheads and sauté with garlic and a bit of lemon. Salt to taste and serve!
